September 22nd is OneWebDay

I like the One Web Day graphic.
According to Mozilla…
OneWebDay is like Earth Day for the internet. It’s a chance to celebrate the awesomeness of the web, and make it better. OneWebDay 2009 takes place on September 22.

I recently designed a new business card for myself and chose UPrinting.com for printing. Their prices are really low, turnaround time is decent, and they offer free digital proofs before printing. I had one issue with the printing quality (see below), but at $34.65 for 1000 4-color, 2-sided business cards, I really can’t complain.
The picture below shows the flaw that seems to be on the front side of all the cards. I have not contacted Uprinting.com yet regarding this. I’m not sure I’m going to bother contacting them. It’s small enough of a flaw that it really doesn’t bother me.
All in all I’m pleased and I’ll use Uprinting.com again for non-critical print jobs. For client projects or other critical gang-run jobs, I’ll stick with my local guys – M13.
My old blog layout was long overdue for some prettifying. I’ve been playing around with different layouts, plugins, and designs for the past week or so. I decided to start with Graph Paper Press‘s Deadwood Lite theme and make some changes and tweaks. I’m still putting the finishing touches on the design, so things might look a little disheveled around here for a short time. Anyway, I hope you like the new look! I’d love to hear your feedback about the new layout also! Tell me what you’d change or what you would ahve done differently.
If you run into any problems or if something looks messed up, please let me know!
